As proud Patrons of Championing Social Care, we at Aria Care would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for another uplifting and impactful Care Home Open Week.
With 67+ care homes across the UK, our communities were once again delighted to take part in this special week — a unique opportunity to open our doors, share our values, and show what truly makes care so powerful: coming together, joy, and community.
From Monday 16th to Friday 20th June 2025, hundreds of people visited our homes, met our dedicated care teams and residents, and joined in with a wide array of activities — each designed to reflect what makes Aria Care such a special place to live and work.
Why We’re Proud to Be Patrons
We became Patrons of Championing Social Care because your mission mirrors our own: to celebrate, elevate and recognise the vital work of the social care sector.
At Aria Care, we care from the heart — and Championing Social Care does too. You help amplify the voices and stories of care teams, residents, and families across the UK, and remind the world just how vital, skilled, and compassionate our work is.
“Championing Social Care shares our belief that social care is something to be proud of. Care Home Open Week is one of the most meaningful celebrations in our year — and we’re honoured to support it.”
— Rob, Home Manager, Kingsclear

Living Our Values Through Open Week
At Aria Care, our values — respect, empathy, excellence, collaboration and integrity — are the foundation of everything we do. Care Home Open Week was a perfect platform to bring these to life:
- Respect and empathy were felt in every warm welcome, every chat, and every bit of shared understanding between residents and visitors.
- Excellence shone through in our beautifully prepared homes, empathetic staff, and well-organised events.
- Collaboration was everywhere: from residents planning menus and activities to community groups lending their time and talents.
- And Integrity guided our open and honest conversations about the challenges and pleasures of working in care.
“What Care Home Open Week gives us is the chance to show not just the ‘what’ of care, but the ‘why’. The love, the stories, and the people who make our homes so special.”
— Isabel Nyirenda, Home Manager, Cedar View
