Bringing together Members of Parliament and care homes across the country
MPs and Care Homes Unite
Care Home Open Week is a national initiative led by Championing Social Care, bringing together Members of Parliament and care homes across the country to celebrate the vital role of social care in local communities.
MPs are invited to visit care homes in their constituencies to see modern care in practice and meet residents and staff. We are grateful to those who took part in 2025, and we are building our 2026 cohort as more parliamentarians sign up to visit homes and champion the sector in their local areas.
